INTRODUCTION TO THE BOLIVIAN
The new Bolivian was created in 1987 and it was circulating in 1988, replacing the Bolivian peso. The first currency of Bolivia was the escudo which was then replaced in 1864 by the Bolivian. Initially this currency was linked to the French franc. In 1963, the Bolivian was replaced by the Bolivian peso. And this was eventually replaced by the Bolivian.
